9701: Re: 9682: New Approach: A Haitian Solution (fwd) Poincy replies to Perrault (fwd)

From: "[iso-8859-1] Jean Poincy" <caineve@yahoo.fr>

Despite the good nature of such an approach, it is not
the appropriate way to bring solutions to Ayiti. The
focus should not be on correcting what was done wrong.
If it had to be this way, Ayiti would need to go back
to the period after independence, there, are the roots
of Ayiti's problem.

I would not suggest that route, because it's
impossible. For rather than seeking justice to correct
the wrongs, the authorities should invest its
resources to make good anything in the coming. That's
where the solution is. Since the departure of
Duvalier, everyone is seeking for justice. The 1987
constitution is its hallmark and leads Ayiti nowhere
but to the disaster that it finds itself today.

All there are in Ayiti are "opportunist politicians"
that are making generous use of the concept of justice
to advance their myopic individual interests. How does
Ayiti need to prevent the new generation of
politicians from thinking that way? How should Ayiti
stimulate them to think from a collective perspective
to advance their individual interests? Ayiti's problem
and search for a solution need to revolve around those
questions.

Ayiti has lived, lives and will live
