Well, last month when I was in Haiti I stayed at the Kay Kapab.   It's in Paco on 40 Rue Babiole and is open to anybody who'd like to stay there.    You just need to call ahead.    It costs $35 a night and that includes 2 meals, breakfast and dinner.    It's Haitian cuisine with US standards.   The cooks are really good.   They have a swimming pool for cooling off, and they also have a school going on, teaching people how to be physical therapists. Also, while we were there we at at the Hotel Montana.  It was a wonderful buffet!   It had fish and goat and beef and spicy pork (love those picklies!!) and salad.   Wonderful meal and it wasn't too pricy by US standards.   And the view is incredible.   Although, honestly, I don't know the address or how to get there (I'm sure someone could tell us on this list to fill in the database information).

Lastly, on Thursday nights, you have to go see RAM at the Oloffson!   It was incredible.   To be sitting there, feet away from Richard Morse (spelling?) and listening to the music, enjoying the whole atmosphere!  It was a blast.   I'll definitely repeat that experience on future trips!

Anyway, that's my additions.   Hope there are more.
