There is a Ministry of Culture and museums and and many cultural efforts.  I
suggest you check there to see what is being done by Haitians and the
government.  The Ministry of Culture periodically puts out publications as
well which discusses some of this preservation.  Check culturehaiti.org to
see if anything relevant to your question is posted on the government site.
