My name is Andrew Millington and I'm an independent filmmaker operating out
of Boston and a film professor at Emerson College.  I'd appreciate any
assistance in posting the following query on your list.

I'm in the process of making a documentary on a Barbadian writer by the name
of George Lamming and am seeking to secure some archival footage.  Lamming
mentions in his interviews that much of his literary work was inspired by a
ritual called "The Ceremony of the Souls" that he'd witnessed during a visit
to Haiti in the 1950/60s.  If anyone has any any archival or more
contemporary footage of such a ceremony or any similar ceremony or might
direct me to an archival source that might be helpful in locating footage of
the period I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
