There is a frightening outbreak of polio on the Caribbean
island of Hispaniola. Health officials of Haiti and the
Dominican Republic are planning an immunization campaign,
Haitian Health Ministry official Claude Surena said. In
May, the two countries will inoculate 3 million children
with the help of about 400 Cuban health care workers,
Surena said.
