As Josiane replied earlier, much of this activism is in support of due
process and non-discrimination based on national origin as groups such as
the National Immigration Forum are not directly concerned with the country
conditions.

In fact, this support is so broad-based that co-counsel in a lawsuit against
the INS includes a US-based lawfirm that has otherwise been working for the
Haitian government for many years.

Would that be tricky or effective?
