A preview of the benefit show "School of the North; Cap Haitian Artists,"
presents twenty works from Cap Haitian and vicinity during the Ithaca
Gallery
Night, Friday, 6 September.

The show opens formally 17 September with a gallery talk and discussion of
the
works at noon, 18 September.

Artists in the show are Bertelus Myrbel, Edouard Jean, Jean-Baptiste Jean,
Hyppolite Felizor, Eddy Jacques; Eric Phanord and the potters of
Vertieres.

Proceeds from sales of the works will go to L'Ecole L'Amitie, a community
school in the La Fossette district of Cap Haitian.
