Studies Association is to meet October 17-20 in Port-au-Prince.  If you
have a
recent book on any topic directly relevant to Haiti and Haitians you may
wish
to bring a review copy to the editors of The Journal of Haitian Studies.
If you
know of a book that you would like to review for the Journal, please
suggest
that to us during the conference.  All reviews are vetted by the editorial
board and those accepted will appear in forthcoming issues of the Journal
.
Film and vide reviews may be suggested as well.
