Haiti: The Struggle Continues

York City.

Is Haiti Uncle Sam’s training ground for Regime
Change?

Roger F. Noriega, U.S. Permanent Representative to the
OAS, said recently: "...a candid, open discussion
requires me to say that we have very serious concerns
about the leadership of Jean Bertrand Aristide".

Meanwhile the Haitian opposition seems to be picking
up steam. On November 17, an anti-government
demonstration reportedly drew 15,000 people in
Northern Haiti.

Also on Thursday, November 21, Haitian rights
activists in New York, Miami, Boston, Chicago,
Washington D.C., and in other cities will be
protesting against U.S. detention and deportation
policies concerning Haitian refugees. We will have
special reports on these demonstrations.
