HCR Foreign Language Forum (Creole and French)
Sport and Recreation: soccer tournament
Literary and art contest
Express yourself in a poem, letter, and an essay or in
arts about the 200 years of Haiti
The Battle of the Bands
Solo Contest: musical instrument piano, violin, sax,
guitar, drums and so on
Folkloric dance, musical performance, parade
A series of lecture during the year
Webpage contest: What does "Creolity" mean to you?
Embark on a creative and rewarding project and explore
one of the multiple facets of the Creolite world
1) The general topic must be "Haiti", i.e., the
Creole-speaking world.
All these and more to celebrate the 200 years of Haiti
in metro Atlanta, last year there were three separate
celebrations, this coming year, three or four
organizations might decide to do it. It gives people a
choice and this is what democracy is all about.
