I have just received, from my law school, a Public
Interest Summer Internship Scholarship to support
public interest work during the Summer of 2003. With
this award I can work for any organization of my
choice FOR FREE (as long as they want me of course.)

I decided to focus my search on a possible internship
in Haiti. I am a first year law student interested in
working for an organization that focuses on women's
rights, children's rights and/or economic development.
I would prefer working in a legal environment under
the supervision of other lawyers but I am open to
other opportunities as well.

I would appreciate any suggestions from
