[8 January 03 10h 11 AMS] Students in hiding are asking for the departure of
the lavalas regime. About ten students of the Faculty of Ethnology, victims
of persecution by the lavalas regime’s supporters; In a declaration to the
press yesterday Tuesday 7 January, these students call all vital sectors of
the country to join in a common effort to force Aristide out of power. A
third year student at the medical and pharmacy faculty has been murdered
yesterday morning to the Chareron street by unidentified individuals
circulating on motorcycle. Pierre Erick went home at 5 o'clock in the
morning after having spent the night studying at the Faculty.
