Hi Joel,

We pack army duffel bags with our supplies when traveling to Haiti.  The
square green canvas, two strap handle, zipper and snap on top variety that
can be opened for inspection at the airport.   They're not pretty but they
easily carry up to the allowed weight limit, have proven durable and can be
found at almost any army surplus store (for about $25).  We've recently used
a few "black bags", similar to the"green bags", but made of a canvas / nylon
blend that might be even more durable (at about $30).  We also use plastic
containers with detatchable lids (that can be refastened after inspection)
for certain goods that can't be stuffed or crushed...
