The clarification is that I said no such thing.
What I said was:
"it is a strange statist remnant" and that "originally it was designed to make
a profit for the government".

It wasn't so difficult to read that was it?
It was only recently a subsidy, when the gourde crashed due to printing vastly
more money than
the government cares to collect from property owners.

Property tax, now there is a concept!

Brother Arthur just showed us that kerosene was increased in price far more
than any other fuel.
It looks to me like kero buyers are subsidising my premium gasoline!

I go thru a gallon of kero a month and about 20 gallons of gasoline in the
same time.
Formerly regular was 20% cheaper than premium, now it is 5% cheaper. Approx, I
didn't do any figuring.
So, I don't bother buying regular anymore. There is no point to buy regular
for 81 gou when premium is 85.

So, subsidising premium gasoline for automobile owners on the backs of
kerosene stove users isn't
what I'd call progressive. I do use a kerosene stove by the way, as well as
kero lamps. To preserve
batteries cause I haven't had EDH for four months.
Solar panels are cheaper here than in kalifornya!
