By far the best film by a Haitian director that I have seen is Raoul Peck's
``Lumumba.'' While not about Haiti, the metaphors of power, dictatorship and
big power manipulation in the Congo in the 1960s coud not be more timely for
anyone interested in Haiti today.
That film is distributed by Zeitgeist Films in NY, which also offers a link
to distributors of all his films, including, ``L'homme Sur les Quais,''
which IS about Haiti.
