Someone in the US State Department has been reporting that the Haitian
National Police have abandoned Gonaives and that the city is basically under the
control of the Cannibal Army.  Is there any truth to this claim, or is it just
part of an American campaign to further discredit the present Haitian
government?  What in fact is the general security situation in Gonaives these days?
