Subject: [WINDOWS-1252] Haiti Support Project ^Ö LA. Purchase Celebrat[WINDOWS-1252] ion

The City of New Orleans will be hosting the Bicentennial celebration of
the Louisiana Purchase for three days in December.   The celebration is
scheduled for Dec. 19 - 21, of which Dec. 19th will be dedicated to
Haiti's contribution to the Louisiana Purchase.  The local New Orleans
chapter of the Haiti Support Project/Cruising into History will be
organizing the event at Congo Square, Mahalia Jackson Theater, and the
Municipal Center.  The President of France, the President of Haiti and
the King of Spain are scheduled to appear and speak.  Also, there will
be lectures and art exhibits.  More events will be finalized in the
upcoming months.

The Cruise to Haiti is on!!!   If you haven't heard already, the HSP
Cruising into History cruise to Haiti is still scheduled for August
14-21, 2004.
