there are some small shops throughout the city with electronic
equipment, appliances, etc.   I saw one on upper Delmas just the other
day (on the left going up----somewhere between Delmas 60 and the top of
Delmas.  also up in Petionville there are some shops.  for inverters,
that would probably be more of a challenge.

asking around is the best way.  also when there are Americans or other
internationals moving out of Haiti they sell their stuff.
