From: LeGrace Benson <legrace@twcny.rr.com>

Thor, I taught ESL in Cap last summer and will send you a list of the
materials I used. One off the top of my head was the Oxford Kreyol/English
picture dictionary, ed. by Carole Berotte Joseph at al. It was
well-received, haevily used by both a group of college-level students and a
young man of thirty, educated poorly, who /takes care of the growing things
at the convent. He loved it so well that I left my copy with him, so cannot
give you the exact title, date, etc. I will send some other information
based upon my experience probably day after tomorrow when I have a minute to
look at some things. One strategy I found unfailingly productive was
story-telling of various forms, where the learner wroks to generate the
story.

Best, LeGrace
