I'm sorry folks but I get really mad when I hear Haiti being called a
'narco state'.  Excuse me but who are the consumers of drugs?  The US!!!
And if we are contributing so much to the drug trafficking - let me ask
you and the US - how many DEA agents are here?  Last count I heard was 4
- 4???? For a country with road conditions like ours. And no high speed
boat, no helicopter to chase down the importers of the drugs - all based
in Port-au-Prince. So that's really helpful when the drugs are dropped
off in Jacmel or Cap Haitian!!!

I had lunch one time with a DEA agent here and he said he had 8 Haitian
policemen I think working with him on his team. BUT they didn't have any
phones so he had to buy them a cell phone in order to contact them to
come on a raid or whatever. And they didn't have vehicles (except for
him) so one time when they needed to go and raid someone's house, they
had to commandeer a Tap Tap to get there. (I know, the drugrunners
wouldn't suspect a Tap Tap, but…..)

Unless someone can tell me differently - that there are dozens of DEA
agents and high speed boats, and a helicopter to chase down the drug
people, then get of your high horse and put the blame where it really
belongs.
