 Regarding journalistic double standard cliches...

Just like the " rickety, unseaworthy, home built"
haitian sloops " teeming " with humanity that still
somehow manage to make  long ocean passages without
mechanical or electronic aids, even reaching the Miami
Richenbacher causeway under the nose of "home land
security".

Maybe the sloops would be better described as
traditional or at least " stealthy", their crew able
and courageous?
