From: leonie hermantin <lhermantin@hotmail.com>

IN EXILE, Echoes from Haiti and Cuba
By Patricia Bencomo-Amaro, Shirley Julien and Roxana Suarez-Gianantonio

Examine, through this outstanding performance, the parallel of the Haitian
and Cuban odyssey to escape the oppression of their homeland and discover
the disparity in the treatment received once they reach American soil. The
evening will feature an engaging live performance involving dance theater,
visual arts and music, authentic food and beverages from both islands, and
an open dialogue between audience, directors and artists.
