RE:  "The bill would amend the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act by
granting duty-free status to apparel from Haiti."

In the past we've seen measures intended to "help Haiti" translate into
vehicles that enrich the wealthy (think Disney sweatshops).  Let's hope a
fair portion of the profits generated by this act find their way to the
workers' pockets.
