Powell Parade in Haiti: Flashpoints Special Correspondent Lyn Duff,
on the ground in Port-au-Prince, Haiti is interviewed by Nora
Barrows-Friedman, as she describes the spectacle surrounding Colin
Powell's visit on Monday. Amid protestors calling for elections and
respect for the Haitian constitution, Powell and Latortue announced
plans to launch an investigation and possible prosecution of
President Aristide for war crimes (hold on just a minute... who made
war on whom and who pleaded for peace here?) The situation in
Bellaire is described as "worse than the 1991 coup" with marine
attacks and killings in the poor neighborhoods.
