21713: charles: Alexandre Pyronneau to play at Carnegie Hall on May 16 (fwd)

Alexandre Pyronneau was the winner of the young artist piano
competition at Steinway Hall. As a result, he will be one of
the performers at Carnegie Hall's Young artists concert at
Weill Recital Hall on May 16th at 1:30PM.

Bio: Alex is the son of Elysee Pyronneau, the former lead
guitarist of Tabou Combo (and a fine classical guitarist).
He is 18 years old and he is a senior at Moore
Catholic High School in Staten Island. He is a music student
at the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division where
he was awarded a 2003-2004 merit scholarship and where he
studies with Carmen Lowenthal. This past year, he was twice
invited to play at Gracie Mansion by Mayor Bloomberg and he
was also asked to perform for Cardinal Egan of New York.
