Good news about the US State Depts' Travel Advisory - they were due to
downgrade it as of yesterday July 7th (I haven't checked it this morning
but yesterday it still hadn't shown up as updated. But they have lifted
the Order of Departure whioch means that those who were evacuated may
come back to Haiti now, incl. the Peace Corps Volunteers. So they are
downgrading the warning for visitors. A high up in the US Consul is
quoted as saying 'This will make Haiti much more inviting to visit'.
