22897: Anonymous: Grupo M doing its best to help Haitian workers (fwd)

It seems that once again the private sector has valiantly stepped in where
the state has failed, and that once again the infantile left is complaining.
Apparently Grupo M has not only given its workers at the Codevi factories in
Ouanaminthe free tetanus injections, but, realising that most Haitians are
not able to organise their own family planning, has also given them free
contraceptive injections.

Really, this sort of benevolent action should be applauded not criticised.
Everyone knows that one of Haiti's main problems is that poor people are
promiscuous and have too many children, therefore perpetuating their
poverty. Thankfully companies like Grupo M are taking matters into their own
hands, and helping their workers, without asking for anything in return. The
sooner the left stops criticising such good works and starts realising the
benevolent role played by our valiant private sector - be it Dominican or
Haitian - the better.
