23340: LScottPht: Food for poor's containters

From: LScottPht@aol.com

Additional info:

Food for the Poor has 180 containers in the port in PAP and have a
franchise meaning they are tax exempt. But, the customs port authority
took so long to process the paper work, Food for the Poor is now being
charged $100,000 dimerge for food that is being given to the Haitian
people in places such as Gonaives. Despite all efforts, the food remains
in the port incurring additional charges while hundreds of thousands of
people in Gonaives wait for the food. Beurocratic red tape is keeping the
 food from hungry children.
