GLOBAL AIDS PROGRAM

The Global AIDS Program (GAP), CDC, HHS, is recruiting for the following positions. MEDICAL OFFICER
PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI

The Global AIDS Program (GAP), CDC, HHS, is recruiting for a Medical Officer, GS- 0602 - 13/14 located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This position serves as a Medical Officer implementing Global AIDS Program (GAP) activities in HIV prevention, care, treatment, surveillance, and infrastructure development under the supervision of the Chief of Party. The main duties of the incumbent are to provide scientific leadership for developing project and program evaluations, evaluation methodology, and for the development and implementation of methodologies that can be used to monitor national or regional level HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs, including abstinence for youth and unmarried persons and mutual faithfulness. The selected candidate provides medical and behavioral science advice and consultation as a national and internationally recognized expert in HIV infection. A medical officer also provides leadership, direction, and technical expertise to universities, medical institutions, non-governmental organizations, the Ministry of Public Health and other collaborating organizations in HIV/AIDS medical and health issues.

BEHAVIORAL SCIENTIST
