i would like to share my experiences using debit cards and credit card 
at soga bank in port-au-prince. i have had my credit and debit card 
fraudulent charged on 4 times and had to submit claims and change 
numbers. if you must use debit cards keep your receipt. the last time 
they declined my card and then submitted a $400 charge. the best way is 
to have money wired in by western union which is an american company and 
is honest.

primes minister latortue said in main that the haitian bank system has 
been reformed. i do not agree.

how many american have had this happen to them?
