Donald Cosentino is entirely right: the passing of this outstanding artist
should be as well noted as are the many remarkable paintings now gracing
collections all over the world.  More than any other artist of his era of
Haitian art, he brought the pantheon of the Vodou lwa into visibility for
the world to see. May his great spirit rest joyfully lan Giné.
