      In reading the Naomi Klein article titled The Rise of Disaster
      Capitalism by Naomi Klein, I was struck by how her impressions were
      matched by my own after my last visit to Haiti in March of this year.
      I saw no evidence of international assistance, but the same old signs
      of impending European assistance in the form of roads to be built by
      some foreign contractor.  Possibly the road would be built by some rich
      Haitian landowner who would take the profits and deposit them in a
      Miami bank.  All of this of course to be done with more "borrowed"
      money.
