Who's Who in Haitian Diaspora

Educa Vision is compiling a "WHO IS WHO in Haitian Diaspora " to feature
Haitians who made notable contributions to a particular field or who retain
the attention of their peers, by going beyond the call of duty to make life
better for fellow humans.

You are invited to submit name and biographical information for editorial
review and possible inclusion in the publication. Below we provide a sample
of entry as it may appear in the book. If you are interested, to propose an
entry, please complete this short biographical data form and send it to

A fictional example :

Maignant  Andrea: Haitian American teacher, poet, event organizer born in
Miami from Haitian parents in November 4, 1955. She went to elementary and
high school in Cap Haitien and returned to the United States in 1975. She
completed a BA in Mathematic Education at University Miami, 1980 ; and a
Masters degree, University of Miami in Leadership in Education, 1982. She
became a teacher at Miami Dade Public School  1982-93, and moved to New York
and worked at NY Board of Education  1993-1999. In 1999 she became special
assistant to the superintendent of schools. She was involved with parent
organization in Brooklyn and Queens to empower Haitian parents to understand
the school governance framework and identify their position into that frame.
She received several awards including one from the Governor of ***** and one
from AMHE New York chapter. She contributed several poems that were
published in **** and ****.  She is a member of  SABE and is featured in Who
is Who in Haitian Diaspora, 2005.
