24967: (response) Saint-Vil re Chamberlain: Neptune in jail (fwd)

From: Jean Saint-Vil <jafrikayiti@hotmail.com>

Yet another effort by Mr. Chamberlain to revise recent history!

Chamberlain, the revisioninst speaks of: "de facto Lavalas rule in April
2000" - referring to the presidency of duly elected René Garcia Préval
(certainly more democratically so elected than Georges Bush th Lesser) -
Chamberlain's is a pitiful attempt to compare the constitutional, democratic
and truly Haitian-led presidency of Préval, with the current puppet Uncle
Tom Regime of Foley-Apaid-Latortue elatriye which now holds office in Haiti.

Chamberlain speaks of "Aristide's persistent blocking of the investigation
into that murder" - yet he offers no explaination as to why, in 2005, with
Aristide safely disposed of since well over one year, Neptune almost
eliminated in jail, and Danny Toussaint no longer benefitting of diplomatic
immunity....somehow, the investigation is STILL BLOCKED! Why are they no
longer interrested in Danny Toussaint's arrest? Chamberlain, should perhaps
ask his contacts at the U.S. embassy for the whereabouts of Phillippe
Markington, Dan Whitman's buddy who was eventually arrested in connection to
the murder of Dominique. Yes, Dan Whitman, U.S. Embassy personnel who was
questioned and of course left alone in the course of that strange case of
the murder of Haiti's most famous journalist, also the most famouis friend
and ally of LAVALAS President René Préval. Jean Dominique the most famous
denounciator of the ELECTORAL Coup he saw coming back in 2000 when, as he
was denouncing in his very LAST editorial the efforts of the U.S. to steal
the election away from his friend and political ally Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

Jean Dominique whose death, just like that of Jesus, was to later be used by
his most probable silencers against the very cause he died defending. Jean
Leopold Dominique, a Haitian who, like Jacques Roumain, was born up the
hill, but managed to be a true Haitian, not an alienated MRE.

Thanks to Haiti-Progrès' brilliant journalistic work, the record will always
show much more than the spin of the estyablishment and its imbedded
press....

As we said long ago: 2 mo pou Jean Do "Laverite ! Jistis !" (Stop the
cynicism, let truth and justice speak)

The key to unlocking the riddle of Jean Do's silencing is to be found from
Jean-Do own words and actions - not those of after-the-fact, all of a sudden
fans of the slain activist and humanitarian. Just like you cannot know qho
killed Martin Luther King by asking the hypocrites who now organize yearly
festifivities on January 15th in the U.S. Anverite kaka je pa linèt !

Let the voice of Jean Dominique forever speak:

"“Mr. Leopold Berlanger, the Coordinator of the Conseil National
d'Observateurs (CNO), is part of a coalition, working through Vision 2000,
which is engaged in THE DESTRUCTION OF LAVALAS.”

“Voila, so this individual is now a member of a coalition which for five
years has worked virulently with Vision 2000 against the Lavalas movement
and this same person is the head of a national commission to observe the
elections while in 1990 he tried to manipulate the results, and this is the
person President Leon Manus gave the power to receive all information and
documents related to the electoral process that should be sent to him
quickly”

(Jean Dominique, March 27, 2000 )

It seems self-evident that, up to the very day he was gunned down, Jean
Dominique was one of the most active members of Fanmi Lavalas and, the
Electoral Coup d’Etat he was denouncing was one being organised AGAINST
LAVALAS, not the opposite.

More quotes from Jean Dominique SPEAKING FOR HIMSELF BEFORE BEING SILENCED:

“We have noted in the course of the electoral process, with the passion that
you all know we have, the legitimate suspicion that there is a threat to the
process with the successive unpleasant revelations of the role of IFES
inside of the CEP and financed and directly manipulated by USAID. So, these
legitimate suspicions about the CEP are getting larger by that unbelievable
accord with the CNO. The question we are asking is the following: Did
President Manus sign this very important text to give Mr. Leopold Berlanger
the possibility of altering the results of the vote? Is President Manus'
signature in accord with the other eight members of the CEP? I already know
that one of them doesn't even know about the accord.” (Jean Dominique, March
27, 2000 )
