Hello fellow Corbetteers,

I am planning to travel overland from Santiago, DR to
Port-de-Paix on July 2 or 3. I would very much
appreciate:

1. practical information from anyone about public
transportation between these points;
2. suggested routes, and routes to avoid;
3. other offers of assistance, including anyone who
might be able to offer me a ride for any part of the
journey.
