Illegal immigrants captured on Palm Beach

PALM BEACH — At least seven illegal Haitian immigrants were captured this 
morning on Palm Beach after apparently sneaking onshore overnight, police said.

The immigrants were shoeless but fully clothed and in good health, a police 
official said. They were dry and claimed they had been dropped off on the 
beach.


The first two immigrants were seized by officials about 2:30 a.m. Four more 
were captured about 6:30, with at least one more apprehended later this 
morning.
