Dear Haitians and brothers and sisters and all,

It is a pleasure in this sad moment, for me to tell you my heart as I feel it
in my stomach. I know you're hungry. I have sympathy for you. But the problem
is not food like rice and beans; the problem is life as we understand life to
exist and be.

There is a bad joke between and among all people who are poor in the world,
from the Mexican poor to the depraved Ghanean to the desperate Senegalese or
Guatemaltecan. It's the crab proberv; the other crab in the bucket wants to
crwal on top of the next crab in the bucket and the next crab in the bucket
wants to get on top of the first crab in the bucket. Consequentially and
logically, by natural law, all the crabs remain in the bucket and get
suffocated and die or the human predators come and steal them and cook them
and have a party on them and laugh and smile. We have been living this
situation as Haitian people since vitam eternam, but we can change this
situation slowly but surely and most certainly.

Firstly, we no crabs, we're people with arms and legs; we're not in a bucket;
we're in a country. We don't have to put the other down so we can show our own
face. That's not wisdom of the wise; that's wisdom of the weak and trembling.
So we must help the next partner as Haitian so he and she and they can get out
of the box and they can help us get out of the box and we can all get out of
the box, one by one and before we know it, we will all get out of the box.
That's the logic of the computer people and it works also in real life. But
the problem is, who is really making something so very easy so very difficult?
Who ? Ah ah ah ah ah !! That's the secret everyone knows but nobody talk
about. That's the old/new/eternal secret. Those who steal in our country
always cry after the crook and scream: bare vólè (tackle the crook). It sure
is always those who claim others are crooks who are the first crooks. So don't
be fooled again. Examples, now the Casques Bleus (blue berets) Brazilian Chief
in Haiti say yesterday that politicians are plan for killing them and also HNP
Haitian police to cause more harmful problems because they want us all out so
they can do their deeds and mostly misdeeds. That tells you something, hein?
You no think?

Secondly, there are two groups of people fighting. There's no right, left,
center in Haiti yet for politics. There are two groups: a vast majority of a
group from poor to masses to middle class to elite who truly, really want
justice, changes, but are silent because they afraid to speak and talk and
say "that's enough". They are modernists with maybe different ideas but with
respectful attitudes. There are on the other hands, the charlatans, the
traditionalists. They speak beautiful, always talk everywhere, always have
something to say and pretend to want change but in the final truth, their
action speak louder than words. So my advice for you: veye yo/watch out. Be
subtle with your mind and thinking. They always speak loud but never have
erally much to say. They never give suggestion but like to point problems.

The day is pale and sad and gloomy but no fear for you. Keep hoping things
will and can be betterment for your little country. No get discouraged. Life
go on on the land of moun fou because we were fou in the first time to take
independence against all odds. We will triumphantly for us and for humanity
all of them. That why is why people from all over the world loves us. Forget
violence but if you kidnap for a little tchiki-tchiki, make sure the
kidnapping is with sweet words that excite lady and make sure she asks you
again, because you did good job, for more little kidnapping like that next
time around.

Have fun with thinking more, and stay away from the traditionalists tout
koulè, tout klas.
