LITTLE HAITI

PROGRAM TO REWARD SMALL BUSINESSES

Small businesses in Little Haiti may soon get a boost, thanks to a resolution 
passed last week by the Miami-Dade County Commission.

The resolution provides $170,000 for the Little Haiti Small Business Technical 
Assistance Project.

Small businesses that participate can receive up to $10,000 after successfully 
completing a three-month program that includes developing and implementing a 
business plan, maintaining or increasing the number of employees, and taking 
advantage of available education opportunities.

The program will be administered by the Haitian American Foundation
