Shango is Spirit of thunder and lightening in Haitian Vodou.  He is known
for throwing lightening  bolts to the earth when angry.  Haitian Vodouists
believes that when Shango gives you something:   money, good luck, or work,
he does expect something  in return, thus Simidor statement regarding Shango
