	I have become very interested in John James Audubon's half-sister, Rose.  Does anybody know anything about her or her Haitian ("quadroon") mother?  There's a little bit about Rose in the recent Audubon biography but virtually nothing about her mother, who was not the same as JJAs mother.

	Also (and a little bit related) what folktales, songs, or sayings do people know about birds in Haiti?
