Welcome to this week's events announcement:
The Highlights for this weekend are as follow:
FRIDAY:
This week end starts up with Carimi and the Hit all female
band Manmzel at SOBs in Manhattan. In Brooklyn, you get to
enjoy System Band and Hang-Out at Cafe Alta while V&V
productions presents Zin and U5 at cafe Omar also in
Brooklyn. Miami continues with 2 new weekly events: Nu-Vice
every Friday at Las Hamacas in SW Miami and T-Tabou with
Koudjay at the Millennium Ballroom.
SATURDAY:
Saturday is loaded with events beginning with the big Kompa
event of the night "50 years of Konpa - 40 Years of Shleu-
Shleu" where Skah-Shah #1 and Shleu-Shleu get together at
the Indian Community center in Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY.
Also Stevens Business Center invites you to its annual
Christmas party at Labadee Manoir any mated by 3 superb DJ.
For the kids, the place to be is at St Joachim & St Ann
Auditorium for the 7th annual Christmas party presented by
HOPEFA Inc.
For the Spring Valley public, the rendez-vous is at Club
Horizon for Tantan and Hang out.
SUNDAY:
Nouvel Ambiance production brings you Hang out at Brasserie
Creole, while Gala dominical at Labadee Manoir brings you
System band. And for the Manhattan crowd, Konpa groove
Sunday continues at Mission.
In the afternoon, Kids get to party again with Exit Ent. &
Gina's Weekend?s Kids Christmas party at Sacred Heart
Auditorium in Cambria Heights with Manmzel and Summer.
Jazz en Folie was a Blast: If you missed the superb night
of Jazz called "Jazz en Folie" at Mixed Notes Cafe in
Elmont, NY last Sunday, you missed one of the greatest Jazz
concert presented Smitty Boy Production and Gladys
creation. It was a night when some of the greatest Haitian
Jazz artists showed why Haitian Jazz is getting notoriety.
With the participation of great players such as Buyu
Ambroise, Ginou Oriol, Chardavoine, Katia Cadet (Babykat),
Eddy Brisseaux and Ti Plim, it was truly a memorable night.
