At some point, Haitians are going to have to figure out a way of expressing
themselves other than strikes and demonstrations. Its destroying the economy
and  its keeping investors away.
Some peoples lives don't skip a beat when there's a strike but other people
suddenly can't send their kids to school or their personal finances are in
disarray for months. When you see an industrialist mogul calling for a strike
it

 makes you wonder what kind of personal sacrifice he or she makes by not
working for a day. We've got to find another way.
