 From J. Sprague

Dear Reader Simidor:

The forwarded "[Part 2 of Batay Ouvriye Statement Addendum: An end to
useless loitering..] states that I never attempted to contact
them. They must be confused on this point. I spoke for around 45
minutes with Mario Pierre (B.O. representative from NYC) on
September 25, 2005 in Washington, DC. I sent numerous emails to
B.O.'s website email address, without ever receiving a response. I
also conducted an interview with the Solidarity Center in June of
2005. I have asked the Solidarity Center (numerous times) and the
B.O. to reveal the full funding relationship, but to no avail.

Although, the NED has revealed the following funding
relationship:     $99,665.00   --->  U.S. Department of State --->
National Endowment for Democracy ---> AFL-CIO Solidarity Center -->
May 1st Union Federation - Batay Ouvriye

If you have any questions/discussion in regards to the expanding
role of "democratization" programs in Haiti please contact me at
jebsprague@[nospam]mac.com or visit my blog at http://
www.freehaiti.net. I have never received any money from Haiti
Progres. I work a full time job and am a graduate student working on
my thesis, examining foreign funding in Haiti. I appreciate your
interest in my articles.
