For you wanna-be-plugged-in Corbetters, here are totals reported by a
very reliable friend who has collected the posted results of 34 BIV's
in the Port-au-Prince area.  They were all in four separate physical
locations:  Nouveau College Bourdon, Mairie de Carrefour, Lycee JJ
Dessalines, Cabinet Malary:

  Preval          4960 votes    61.5%
  Manigat         1466          18.2%
  Baker            655           8.1%
  Chavannes Jeune  269           3.3%
  Mesadieu          99           1.2%
  Other            630           7.8%
                 -----         ------
       Total      8059 votes   100.0%

He notes that with about 9000 BIV's in Haiti, this is still a pretty
small sample, and since it is all from the Port-au-Prince area,
probably statistically insignificant.   Nevertheless...
