Nine-goal debut for Bolivia coach

LA PAZ, March 5 (Reuters) - Bolivia gave new coach Carlos Aragones a
perfect debut on Sunday by hammering hapless Haiti 9-2 in a friendly
international. Roger Suarez scored four goals, including a first-half
hat-trick which included two in the first seven minutes, as the South
Americans ran riot. Joaquin Botero scored a hat-trick in less than 25
minutes during the second half while Julio Cesar Baldivieso and Marcelo
Carvallo helped themselves to a goal each. Carlos Marcelin and Frantz
Gilles scored in the second half for Haiti, who were unable to
cope with the thin air of La Paz and had a nightmare warm-up for a World
Cup qualifier at home to Dominica next Saturday. Aragones replaced
Argentine Hector Veira, who lasted less than one year in the job.
