I too thought of Haiti as a possible haven after 9/11. To be treated as less
than foreignors in your native country must be horrible (well, actually, it
is happening here in the U.S. re medical and other expensive benefits going
to illegals while Americans face "the doughnut" and watch their hospitals
close).

For those lucky enough to know Marx Aristide, Voltaire on this list, dual
nationality "reversing the brain drain" was one of his primary goals,
working in D.C. where he was killed in a most typically American accident.
