Hello.  I want to tell you all about a website I just constructed on Haitian 
Rara:  http://rara.wesleyan.edu/

This website features video clips, still photos, and audio clips that were 
impossible to publish in my book on Rara festivals in Haiti--but which may be 
useful in teaching or in research.

The site includes the 15-minute documentary by Verna Gillis on Rara in Haiti in 
the 1970s, as well as photos by Chantal Regnault and Syndey Byrd, and clips of 
a new film on Rara in Brooklyn by Jeremy Robins and Magali Damas.
