From: Felix Edouard <loveayiti@hotmail.com>

In reference in you comparison of Miami Cubans and Havana Cubans...From
where I sit "in Miami"

Miami Cubans are no different than Miami Venezulans, Brazilians,
Nicaraguans or Americans when is comes to Haiti. People are simply tired
of the problems of Haiti. No one is fearful of any enonomic threat from
Haiti.

Calling it Haiti fatigue to simple being nice. Even the Diaspora, which
once hoped for a better Haiti, have grown tired of Haiti. They are scared
to visit and think the country is overrun by corruption, thieves, murderers, the poor masses who don't know better and the leaders who
simply don't care. Sad truth. While they acknowlege Haiti proud history,
today it is not uncommon to hear people say that our pride was part of
our downfall.

This is the view from the outside.
