Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone has a reference for short stories - krik/krak, 
folklore, etc - proverbs, or poems that show Haitian women's strength and 
importance in society, their courage in the face of adversity, etc.  Either a 
direct reference or a metaphorical allusion would be helpful.
