This special event is in recognition of the International Day of Solidarity with the people of Haiti; as well as Black History Month; and International Development Week.

Presentation content will include:
-     A concise historical overview of Haiti’s birth and recent
History
-     Canada’s recent role in Haiti
-     The “Responsibility to Protect” doctrine (R2P)
-     The Role of NGO’s in the imposition of R2P
-     A perspective on the work and challenges of CHAN in exposing that role
